What color highlights would be best?

i have hair thats 2 inches below my shoulder.


i go to school, so it has to be appropriate colors.


i have natural black hair.


its razor cut.


it goes over one eye. (so i have long bangs in other words)





should i get more than one color?





i was thinking red strips in my hair along the bangs and roots of it. also at the end of my layers.





is that good?

I think that really dark red highlights would look really good and maybe some dark brown too. I have a friend with virtually black hair about the same length as yours and it looks gorgeous with warm brown highlights in it, especially on her bangs. :DWhat color highlights would be best?
get red peek-a-boo highlights. they put some on the outter layer of the hair and put the rest on middle and bottom layers so you can only see them when you have your hair up or pulled back in different ways. i had it, it looks really cool
