I don't see why not, people have green and pink hair, and yours would not be near that bright.Blonde Hair with the color bright red highlights?
be aware that highlights not only change the color of your hair, but they can change the look of your face as well. Here are some tips on where to place your highlights to compliment your face shape:

The Right Highlights for Round Faces

To make your cheeks more angular and to help slim and elongate your face, keep the bulk of highlights away from your hairline (concentrating on the lower part of your strands) and add lowlights around the crown area instead.

The Right Highlights for Heart Faces

Layer the bulk of highlights around your crown to balance narrow cheeks. Dark hair near your chin exaggerates a pointy face. For this reason, use light highlights liberally around this area.

The Right Highlights for Long and Narrow Faces

If your hair falls past your shoulders, lighten the lowest few centimeters a little. This will make your face appear shorter.

The Right Highlights for Square Faces

Place thin streaks evenly throught your hair. To soften a strong, square jaw line place a few extra-light highlights in the front section of your hair.

hope this helps :)
not with blonde hair. It would look good on brunette hair. try wispy layers too.
