Ok I want white highlights, and I want to know what I can use to strip the color out of my hair?

You can use bleach. Depending on what colour your hair is at the moment you might have to do it a few times. It'll not be white though. You'll need to use a toner to have it anything but brassy bleach colour.

honestly i think blonde highlights and brown hair looks ridiculous but i have blonde hair and even blonder highlights and everytime i re highlight my hair it just keeps making my hair more blonder. like the highlights combined and thats not going to look good on a brunette bc soon ull be all blonde. i think low lights would be cool. but then again u have highlights in it haha. maybe you should color it back to normal and like a month after (so ur hair doesnt fall out) you should get low lights. just shoot for something different :)

Believe me...it will always be in the undertone until you grow it out and cut it off. Go for several shades of Deep caramel and honey, these are more natural if you get it done with foil highlights. Honey highlights would be best, but because your hair is so dark, I would recommend going to a salon and allowing them to highlight it for you there so that you do not wind up with orange highlights.
If you really can't afford that and do it at home grab Loreal's Chunking Kit, and watch the color to make sure you rinse after the orange phase has passed. A HUGE mistake alot of people make is rinsing before the color has fully developed, so ignore the box time and watch your hair, it rarely takes more than an 60-90 mins to get he highlighting color you will need.What color highlights would look good on my hair? In the front sections a high-lift neutral ash or ash brown could be used, but it would have to be professional grade with double the peroxide (40 0r 50 volume). This is very difficult to achieve in one sitting...even when done by a professional. One way to do it would be to get neutral brown highlights and then go back thru with fine bleach streaks while toning with natural ash to reduce the naturally existing orange. Brunettes with strong hair have to counter the orange by adding ash. I like framesi 8D or 8N and Goldwell 7NA or 8N + 6A over bleach. Ask who did your friends' hair, if you like theirs, or ask someone who has dark thick hair with nice highlights. See if her hairdresser can give you the formula for your hairdresser to try. Be sure to pick out a few more pictures than this one when you go to the salon. Even if you have to show photos of hair you don't like. Tell the hairdresser if you spend most of your time under fluorescent light or outdoors or whichever. Good luck!
Hmm..It seems like a rich chestnut/hazel color. Although I would say it's more brown than anything else.

If i have highlighted my hair & want it back to my normal hair color??
I have been highlighting my hair for a little less than a year now and its becoming to expensive for me to keep up with so I want to go back to my natural hair color so i wont have to dye my hair anymore. Is this possible to get done at a salon? If i get it dyed back, will i be done with paying for hair color again because I cannot afford this anymore. none. no offense, but highlights normally look really fake in black hair. if you really want them, i would go with something in the brown family.
