Layers would be cool, and I agree you shouldn't just go with blonde highlights. I would say strawberry blonde it's a very cute color and would look kinda like this:

.......not a hair expert but these were my initial thoughts.
I think your hair is gorgeous/shiny as is...any time you mess with it [dying, lengthening, etc] it messes it up [trust me, I'm speaking from experience]...but I also know that we all love change...new hair, new makeup, etc sooooooo I would strongly suggest blonde highlights...for your hair 3 highlight colors would be more than enough [once they ';bleach'; it they add any color highlights you want...stick to blonde, beige, light brownish tones...basically warm and sunny tones], however, one would work perfectly, too.





I had 2 put in the first time I did mine and they always look better when you put in on your natural hair color...it gets worse down the line, unless you've got strong thick hair that can manage the damage...I've got thin difficult hair and now I spend so much money on hair repair treatments, etc that I wish I had stuck to my ';boring'; hair...dying becomes addictive...again, it's fun but a costly hobby down the line...hahahaha...but you only live once, right? Hope you share the pics after you do it :-%26gt;
Dont get blonde, cuz it will make your hair look like its all blonde. I agree that dark brown will look so cute, but not too dark.
