Getting highlights/color?

I want to get blue highlights(a medium blue w/ a hint of the Crayola sky blue mixed in). Well, I was told that blue doesn't stand out too well on my hair color. I have very dark brown hair that is layered and it is about 2in past my shoulders on the longest layer and 5in long on my shortest. I had light purple years ago, but it didn't show great. I'm thinking about getting my front 2 strands an icy silver and either getting those tips dyed blue or getting 2 narrower strips of blue right behind the silver.


Does it sound like it would look good?


PS. I am b/w the ages of 15-24....I'm not too old LOLGetting highlights/color?

i would bleach little pieces in and then dye them blue
